$Meta Platforms, Inc.(META)$Is getting hit real hard due to the huge drop in profitability during the recent quarter earnings. The company remains aggressive in expenditure onmetaverse project which is not yet fruitful.  most Investors remain hopeful that the company family of apps would continue to do well over time but the risk that brought upon by the loss-making metaverse is still quite significant and shouldnt be ignored.  To regain confidence of investors, Meta needs to (1) give up on metaverse project, or (2) be able to turn metaverse project profitable , or (3) reduce spending on metaverse project.  Everything revolves around metaverse whether it will be a success or not. $Alphabet(GOOGL)$Has sold off today due to weaker guided future earning projection. Alphabet is expected to have slower earning growth in coming quarters and have slowed down hiring. I believe this is just a start of the downtrend as Fed started monetary tightening. Alphabet revenue and earning will come down short term, so does the stock price. 

$Alibaba(09988)$ comparing to the stock market cycle chart, I  think Alibaba has reached a level of capitulation or depression.  After holding onto the stock for two years and constantly buying the dip, I'm starting to feel depressed and believe rebound is around the corner. I hope the market god can spare mercy to such a great business like this.  My wife and mother-in-law cannot accept ifAlibaba wind down their business as they still need taobao shopping on 11.11 singles day 😅 I believe Alibaba bagholders have been holding this hope for a long time and it's time forour patience to be paid.

$Alphabet(GOOG)$Price movementhas been weak for Google lately as investors are predicting a hit in advertising revenue due to reduction in advertisement  budget from corporate during a potential global recession. However,  I remain bullish on this stock long term , 3-5 years and I believe the company willget through short term headwinds Reason behind is because I believe the companies moat in search engine and video streaming services are impenetrable . I can't imagine using other platforms to search or watch video . Also corporates can't run away from advertising , they need it to grow their business

What they have in common are they are both heavily weighted in many major indexes such as QQQ and S&p500 ETF and have grew a lot for the past 5Yrs. $Adobe(ADBE)$Acquired design platform Figma for 20Billion USD. Adobe current market cap is 140B USD. This represents more than 10% of Adobe total value. Why did a tech behemoth like Adobe spent so much on an acquisition. We as investor needs to think about the value of the deal and why did Adobemake the deal.In my opinion, this acquisition is mainly a killoff competttion  head-to-head  with Adobe's XD program In order to strengthens its economic moat. 

$Salesforce.com(CRM)$Just closed my bullput spread on salesforce after it rallies a little since market opened. I believe that the stock market could face a little bit of turbulence and I am uncertain it will move towards the upside or the downside. I am afraid of the latter which could potentially let my trade turn south. I am pocketing a 30% profit which I am happy enough. Will carefully look into market movement today to see if there are other entry opportunities.

$PING AN(02318)$Holding onto ping an insurance has been a rough ride since 2020 during Covid and got in at $79. Since then I have been averaging in at 60+ & $50. I believe that most would feel the same, impatien. But think of the good side - the dividend they pay every year for simply holding the bag. Ping An insurance is the largest insurance company in China and it is too big to fail, even with the property crisis happening in China. Great investors always say don't look at your portfolio after you have entered a position for 5 years. You will see rainbow after that. Don't know if the story holds for this case. In 2025. Time will tell. 

$Adobe(ADBE)$looks like will be on short term bullish with yesterday bullish ice cream bar. If price can close above yesterdays high, next week should be quite bullish

Bearish momentum is expected in the coming week. In investing perspectives, this is an attractive price level and once we can have a good entry once we see a bounce off a support this week to catch the next uptrend.
