So far 2022 has been very hard to watch unfold; mu growth stocks have taught me that time in the market beats timing the market. When there is risk it is those stocks tha suffer first and the hardest. Focusing now for the second half of the year on value stocks that offer a decent divided. Also on value stocks that are discounted based on PE. Good luck to all!
$Apple(AAPL)$All the success and amazingproducts feels a result of the innovation and thought leadership Steve Jobs brought back to Apple. Have there been any market busting new products under Tim Cook? Airpods?I fear Apple despite the commanding position it holds today, could return to the wilderness years of the mid 1990's without a leader ne like Jobs driving Apple forward. Perhaps this is why Apple is today focusing more and more on services based revenue and monitising their huge customer base aka fan base because the innovation has dried up.I love Apple products I'm massively bought into the echo system but I don't own any Apple stock.

I was at the gas station today filling up the car. I can only assume that the good folk working were warming up for a Top Gun 2 viewing as 'Take My Breath Away', the song synonymous with the first movie, was being blasted out across the forecourt. I imagined for a moment our late model Mazda was an F14 on the flight deck. Whilst global stocks have dropped by c.20%earnings have largely held within forecast orrun rate. Some industries (example Consumer Stamples or Oil) have increased earnings. I guess getting a sugar hit before the costs associated with inflation land in their bottom lineaInterest rates up, stocks down, crypto down, bonds up. It is a confusing time for anything but long term holders of quality companies.
