Recently, at Plot 25 of the Kecheng Ecological Industrial Park, the construction of a production line project—capable of producing 12 million LED products, 3 million Bluetooth earphones, and 3 million electronic wristbands annually—is progressing steadily. Lin Lifeng, the on-site project manager, stated that the team is currently focused on basement slab construction for Building No. 1, with above-ground structural work expected to begin by mid-November.
Covering 25 acres with a total floor area of approximately 48,000 square meters, the project includes four buildings, the tallest of which will be 11 stories high. Construction began on September 8, and so far, foundation work and partial waterproofing for all four factory buildings have been completed. The project is slated for completion by the end of next year.
Meanwhile, the New Display Industrial Park in the Fenghuangshan area of Hangbu Town has also commenced construction, currently in the foundation piling phase. Yu Zhengfei, head of the engineering department at Kecheng District Industrial Investment Group and project leader, explained that the park is a technology-driven innovation hub focused on the optoelectronic industry. Spanning nearly 88,000 square meters, it will feature eight standard factory buildings and one integrated service building. Upon completion, it will have an annual production capacity of 2 million display screens, 8 million electronic components, and 1 million smart terminal devices and general parts, positioning itself as a key player in the regional optoelectronic supply chain.
To accelerate project progress, Kecheng District has implemented a dedicated task force, milestone tracking, and parallel approval mechanisms to streamline services. "From blueprints to construction sites, from foundations to factory buildings, we work closely with the project team to monitor progress, ensure quality and safety, and expedite completion and operation," Yu Zhengfei said.
Currently, Kecheng District is rapidly developing high-standard industrial facilities to create premium production spaces, encouraging clustering of supply chain-related enterprises. This initiative aims to integrate "upstairs and downstream" operations, strengthening the optoelectronic semiconductor and high-end manufacturing sectors through extended, supplemented, and reinforced supply chains. The strategy supports industrial upgrading and the realization of the "Industrial Strong District" vision.
