Recently, China Securities Index Co., Ltd. upgraded the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) rating of Agricultural Bank Of China Limited (ASX: 601288) from "A" to "AAA," with a score ranking second among A-share listed companies and at the forefront of the financial industry, reflecting the recognition of the bank's ESG management and disclosure standards by a domestic authoritative rating agency.

The rating results show that ABC (ASX: 01288) received the highest evaluation in areas such as environmental opportunities, stakeholder engagement, corporate governance, and business ethics.

As a domestic authoritative ESG rating agency, China Securities Index Co., Ltd.'s evaluation results have been widely applied in index compilation, investment research, and product development. The CSI ESG evaluation methodology is grounded in China's national conditions and capital market realities, fully aligned with sustainable disclosure rules, and covers important topics such as innovation-driven development, rural revitalization, and green finance. It fully reflects the policy orientation and practical characteristics of China's sustainable development field, providing a scientific, objective, and fair evaluation benchmark for guiding listed companies to practice sustainable development concepts and serving the national "dual carbon" strategy.

In recent years, Agricultural Bank Of China Limited (ASX: 601288) has actively practiced global development initiatives and sustainable development commitments, identified sustainable risks and opportunities, actively and steadily advanced the "dual carbon" goals, served a wide range of stakeholders, and continuously integrated sustainable development concepts into its operations and management.

First, continuously deepening the sustainable development governance mechanism. The bank has established a vertically integrated sustainable development governance structure, with the board of directors reviewing multiple sustainability proposals including green finance, inclusive finance, consumer rights protection, and environmental and climate-related financial risks.
