MINIEYE (02431) surged more than 4%, with its stock price up 4.15% to HK$15.32 at the time of writing, generating a turnover of HK$135 million. The company recently announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with India's leading automotive parts supplier, Sterling Tools Ltd. (Sterling Group), in Shenzhen. The collaboration will focus on the wave of automotive intelligence upgrades in the Indian market, centering on the implementation of smart vehicle solutions and the localized production of components. This move marks a critical step in MINIEYE's "Global Expansion 2.0" strategy and initiates the company's first strategic layout and localization exploration within the Indian market. India's automotive industry is currently entering a crucial phase of safety upgrades, with regulations mandating that all new vehicle models must be equipped with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Driver Drowsiness and Attention Warning Systems (DDAWS) as standard from January 1, 2027. This regulatory incentive is expected to directly generate massive demand for intelligent driving and smart cockpit products, thereby opening up substantial market opportunities for the partnership.
