$12T Vanguard Boosts Bitcoin Exposure with $195M MSTR Stock Buy

Vanguard Group’s Mid-Cap Value ETF (VOE) has increased its investment in Michael Saylor-backed Strategy (MSTR). It gives a boost to its exposure to Bitcoin-linked equities.

Vanguard’s latest disclosure indicates that the ETF has purchased 1,210,422 more shares of MSTR in the last quarter. The new stake in Strategy was worth around $195 million. Prior to this transaction, the fund had 832,846 MSTR shares, which has now grown to 2,043,268 shares.

Coinbase And Bybit Join Forces On Tokenization Of Stocks

Crypto exchange Coinbase Global (NASDAQ: $COIN) is reportedly working with Bybit on the tokenization, custody, and distribution of U.S. stocks.

Bybit, which is headquartered in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is one of the largest pureplay crypto trading platforms.

Bybit is apparently partnering with Coinbase to also offer investors tokenized versions of pre-IPO stocks such as SpaceX.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs Near $1 Billion in Weekly Inflows, Best Stretch Since Mid-January

Spot Bitcoin ETFs logged nearly $1 billion in weekly net inflows last week, their strongest seven-day stretch since mid-January, per CoinGlass flow data.

BlackRock’s IBIT alone absorbed $612 million of that total, confirming institutional concentration in the dominant fund. The core question now: does this flow momentum translate into durable price support, or does tactical resistance cap the rally again?

Year-to-date Bitcoin product inflows have turned positive for the first time since January, a threshold Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas flagged as signaling “extraordinary institutional acceptance” of Bitcoin as an asset class.

Total net assets across all U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs surpassed $101 billion by Friday’s close, with daily trading volumes approaching $4.8 billion.

Bitcoin Spot ETF Flow

The overall net outflow of the US Bitcoin spot ETF on Monday was $17.67 million. The total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $100.89 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market value compared to total Bitcoin market value) is 6.55%. The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest net inflow on April 20 was Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust ETP , with a net inflow of $8.1 million, according to SoSoValue.
