Government trying to bring back the $$ that has eroded out of the island. Those that has investments overseas & foreigners that thinks SG is a safe heaven. At the same time get people to spend their savings & also take up loans. To increase bank net interest income. This is the best way to push the STI up and bring the market up.

Two projects are estimated to launch in August, one in October and the remaining two in December.There’s also a plan to sell six private residential sites in the so-called reserved list.
