Hong Kong Shares Open Higher as Tech Stocks Mostly Rise, Consumer and Mining Sectors Gain

Hong Kong's three major stock indexes opened higher on Monday. The Hang Seng Index rose 0.12% to 24,993.77 points at the open, while the Hang Seng Tech Index gained 0.38%. The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index also increased by 0.16%.
Sector performance was mixed in early trading. Tech stocks saw more gains than losses, with Alibaba Group Holding Ltd (HKEX: 9988) rising over 1%. The new consumer concept sector was active, with Mixue Group (HKEX: 2096) surging more than 2%. Mining stocks generally rose, with Lingbao Gold Group Co Ltd (HKEX: 3330) climbing over 6%. The semiconductor segment also showed some strength, with GigaDevice Semiconductor Beijing Inc (HKEX: 9899) advancing more than 1%.
