The slogan "We don't produce water; we are merely nature's porters" is undoubtedly very familiar to everyone. One of NONGFU SPRING's (09633) factories is located in Fusong County, Baishan City, Jilin Province. This location is very close to the company's water source in the Changbai Mountains and is only about 60 kilometers from the main peak, Tianchi. The Fusong factory was established in 2014 in the heart of the northeastern Changbai Mountains, an area with a resident population of just over 20,000 people. The factory's exhibition hall still displays photographs of the designers, builders, and employees who have made significant contributions to the facility.
Products manufactured at the Fusong factory include bottled water for infants and mothers, as well as the "Changbai Snow" brand. The factory's fastest production line can output up to 81,000 bottles per hour. Even the slower production line for the infant and mother water product can achieve a speed of 27,000 bottles per hour. According to factory staff, production efficiency is related to factors such as the sophistication of the equipment and the specific production processes required for different products.
In recent years, the factory's equipment has been continuously upgraded, and technological breakthroughs have been made, with newer machinery offering higher efficiency. Furthermore, the production of water for infants and mothers requires high-temperature heating for sterilization followed by sterile cold filling. The water must meet commercial sterility requirements, which inherently limits the maximum production speed. It was noted that the Changbai Mountain region is one of the world's three major golden water sources. The water has a pH value of around 7.3, making it naturally slightly alkaline, and maintains a constant temperature of approximately 7 degrees Celsius year-round.
The water quality from the Changbai Mountains is characterized by two main features: low sodium content and desalination, meaning it has a low degree of mineralization. Which brand of drinking water do you usually consume?
