Deep News2025-12-31

The General Office of the Hunan Provincial People's Government recently issued the "Implementation Opinions on Expanding the Elderly Care Industry and Promoting Silver Economy Development" (hereinafter referred to as the "Implementation Opinions"). The Implementation Opinions propose strengthening the empowerment of smart elderly care. It aims to accelerate the application of technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, intelligent detection, and brain-computer interfaces in the field of elderly care.

Artificial intelligence will be utilized to enhance the recognition of elderly care service recipients, improve support for service guarantees, and increase the precision of service content. Priority will be given to the layout and development of intelligent products, including those for transfer and handling, mobility assistance, walking aids, automatic excretion management, nursing robots, health monitoring, and missing person monitoring.

The plan involves creating a batch of digital scenarios that align with the living habits and consumption needs of the elderly, while actively promoting "Smart Radio and Television + Elderly Care Services." Enterprises are encouraged to apply for inclusion in the "Catalogue for the Promotion of Smart Health and Elderly Care Products and Services."
