Bitcoin ETF Flows Turn Positive After $4.6 Billion Rebound
Flows into US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds have swung positive for the year as a recovery in the largest cryptocurrency revives investor demand.
The cohort has taken in about $320 million on a net basis in 2026, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. Investors have poured roughly $4.6 billion into the funds since Aug. 19, when the US Treasury said it would increase buybacks of long-dated bonds, reversing outflows accumulated earlier in the year.
Bitcoin has rallied about 35% in that period to above $86,000, finally breaking out of a slump that had kept it mostly below $80,000 since February. The token fell as much as 3.2% to $83,520 on Wednesday in New York trading.
BlackRock says AI agents could drive stablecoin and crypto adoption
Artificial intelligence could be one of the biggest drivers for digital asset adoption as autonomous agents begin buying services, moving money and sourcing computing power, according to a BlackRock paper.
Stablecoins are likely to be the first major beneficiary. Their relatively stable value makes them useful for pricing services, while blockchain networks can support payments around the clock. BlackRock highlights Coinbase x402 protocol as one emerging way agents to pay for online resources, including API calls. It also acknowledges that existing payments networks are adapting to agentic commerce.
Crypto Firm Coinbase Dropped as Member of UK Finance Lobby Group
US-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has been removed as a member of UK Finance, one of Britain’s most influential financial services lobby groups, even as the digital-asset sector takes a more prominent role in policy debates.
The board of UK Finance wrote a letter to Coinbase last week saying it was terminating the company’s membership, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
The letter said the group’s board had reviewed its membership framework and determined that crypto exchanges did not meet its criteria, said the people, asking not to be identified discussing private information. Coinbase can appeal the decision, one of the people said.
Bitcoin & Ethereum Spot ETF Flow
The overall net inflow of the US Bitcoin spot ETF on Monday was $346.98 million. The total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $108.66 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market value compared to total Bitcoin market value) is 6.42%.
The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest net inflow on September 23 was iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), with a net inflow of $166.29 million, according to SoSoValue.

The overall net inflow of the US Ethereum spot ETF on Monday was $104.63 million. The total net asset value of Ethereum spot ETFs is $17.50 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market value compared to total Ethereum market value) is 5.37%.
The Ethereum spot ETF with the highest net inflow on September 23 was iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA), with a net inflow of $50.80 million, according to SoSoValue.
