Memory-chip stocks extended gains in overnight trading. SK hynix rose 6%; Roundhill Memory ETF rose 5%; SanDisk snd Micron rose 4%; Western Digital and Seagate rose 3%.
Optical communications stocks also rallied in overnight trading. AXT rose 7%; Applied Optoelectronics rose 6%; Credo Technology, Lumentum, Semtech, POET Technologies, Ciena, and Coherent rose 3%.
