Solar energy stocks surged in morning trading. SolarEdge rose 22%; Canadian Solar rose 18%; JinkoSolar rose 9%; NEXTracker and Array Technologies rose 6%; Enphase Energy and First Solar rose 5%; Sunrun rose 4%.
SolarEdge reported third quarter EPS of $-0.31, $0.10 better than the analyst estimate of $-0.41. Revenue for the quarter came in at $340.21M versus the consensus estimate of $330.29M.
