On 23 January 2026, the board of directors of China Galaxy Securities Co., Ltd. (06881) approved the nomination of Ms. QU Yanping as a candidate for executive director. The proposal is subject to approval by the company's shareholders.
Born in July 1966, Ms. QU holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the Central University of Finance and Economics and an MBA from Tsinghua University. She has previously served in various management roles at China Construction Bank Trust and Investment Corporation (now China Cinda Trust and Investment Company), Beijing Securities Trading Branch of China Cinda Trust and Investment Company, Galaxy Fund Management Company Limited, and China Investment Corporation. She has also held directorships at Shenyin & Wanguo Securities, Shenwan Hongyuan Securities, and Shenwan Hongyuan Group, and served as the chairperson of the board of supervisors of Central Huijin Asset Management Ltd.
Ms. QU has been the deputy secretary of the Party Committee of China Galaxy Securities since September 2021. She served as a supervisor and the chairperson of the supervisory committee from October 2021 to October 2025. Upon receiving shareholder approval, her term will run until the end of the fifth session of the board, with eligibility for re-election. She will not receive a director’s fee but will receive remuneration in accordance with her role, including fixed salary, performance-based remuneration, and benefits.
