At a press conference held on August 26, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) outlined its plans to strengthen the implementation of the 15th Five-Year Plan and accelerate the advancement of a new type of industrialization. Officials emphasized the commitment to fostering high-quality enterprises by refining the tiered cultivation system for business growth.
The focus will be on expanding the ranks of specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with a particular emphasis on creating more "little giant" firms that demonstrate exceptional expertise and manufacturing champions that lead their respective sectors. These efforts aim to build a robust ecosystem where businesses of all sizes can thrive.
To further drive progress, the MIIT will deepen the integration of large and small enterprises, encouraging collaborative innovation across supply chains and industrial chains. Additionally, the ministry plans to optimize the national service network for SMEs, launch initiatives to reduce corporate burdens, and introduce more innovative services to enhance the overall benefits for businesses.
