SEC's Crypto Task Force to Hold Public Roundtable on Financial Surveillance and Privacy On Dec 15, 2025
The Securities and Exchange Commission’s Crypto Task Force has announced the agenda and panelists for its rescheduled Roundtable on Financial Surveillance and Privacy.
The roundtable will be held at the SEC's headquarters at 100 F Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. on Dec. 15 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. ET. The event will be open to the public and webcast live on the SEC’s website. Doors will open at 12 p.m.
Robinhood to Enter Indonesia with Brokerage, Crypto Trader Acquisition
Robinhood Markets will acquire Indonesian brokerage firm Buana Capital Sekuritas and licensed digital asset trader Pedagang Aset Kripto, marking the retail trading platform's entry into one of Southeast Asia's major crypto hubs, the company said in a blog post on Sunday.
Indonesia is among the world's leading adopters of cryptocurrency, backed by supportive regulation and a tech-savvy young population, making it a prime target for U.S. firms seeking growth in Asia.
The country has more than 19 million capital market investors and 17 million cryptocurrency traders, underscoring its appeal for both stock and digital asset trading.
Cantor Slashes Strategy Price Target By 59%, Remains 'Long-Term Bullish' on Bitcoin Giant
Cantor Fitzgerald analysts significantly lowered their price target for Strategy shares in a Friday note, while reiterating an “Overweight” rating for the Bitcoin-buying firm that holds approximately $58 billion in BTC.
The investment bank penciled in a 12-month price target of $229 for Strategy’s stock, around 59% lower than its previous $560 estimate. Still, Cantor underscored its positive outlook for the company, which has seen shares slide more than 50% over the past six months, and remains "long-term bullish" due to its confidence in Bitcoin.
The adjustment reflects a decline in the value that the analysts apply to Strategy’s treasury operations, which fell to $74 per share from $364 per share. Over the next year, the analysts now expect Strategy to raise $7.8 billion from capital markets, as opposed to $22.5 billion.
ZKsync to Retire Its Original Ethereum Rollup Next Year
ZKsync, an Ethereum scaling solution made by Matter Labs, said Sunday that it plans to retire ZKsync Lite, the network it launched in June 2020 as Ethereum’s early zero-knowledge payment rollup, next year.
“This is a planned, orderly sunset for a system that has served its purpose and does not affect any other ZKsync systems,” the team wrote on X.
They added that ZKsync Lite was a “proof-of-concept” and “validated critical ideas” in the context of Matter Labs' rollout of production versions of its zero-knowledge systems.
CZ: Binance User Base Surpasses 300 Million
On December 8, Binance founder CZ posted on social media that the number of registered users on the Binance platform has exceeded 300 million.
Bitcoin & Ethereum Spot ETF Flow
The overall net intflow of the US Bitcoin spot ETF on Friday was $54.79 million. The total net asset value of Bitcoin spot ETFs is $117.11 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market value compared to total Bitcoin market value) is 6.57%.
The Bitcoin spot ETF with the highest net inflow on December 5 was ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB), with a net inflow of $42.79 million, according to SoSoValue.

The overall net outflow of the US Ethereum spot ETF on Friday was $75.21 million. The total net asset value of Ethereum spot ETFs is $18.94 billion, and the ETF net asset ratio (market value compared to total Ethereum market value) is 5.19%.
The Ethereum spot ETF with the highest net outflow on December 5 was iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA), with a net outflow of $75.21 million, according to SoSoValue.
