Globe Telecom (GLO) announced that it has completed a joint venture with Singapore-based technology services firm NCS, finalising an agreement first signed on Mar, 26 2025.
The transaction gives NCS 51% and Globe Telecom 49% of Yondu, which will be renamed NCS Philippines. As part of the deal, Yondu acquires NCSI Philippines, Inc., making it a wholly owned subsidiary.
According to the companies, the venture immediately expands delivery capacity to more than 1,200 professionals in the Philippines and enhances offerings in digital, cloud, data and artificial-intelligence services across the Asia-Pacific region.
Globe President and Chief Executive Officer Carl Raymond R. Cruz said the partnership provides a platform for regional growth, while Carlo Puno, Globe’s Chief Finance Officer, stated that the structure is designed to improve capital efficiency and support sustainable revenue growth.
NCS Chief Executive Officer Ng Kuo Pin added that the closure strengthens the firm’s APAC expansion strategy and broadens access to its technology expertise for clients across the region.
