On September 23, shares of AUNTEA JENNY continued their rally, climbing 15% during the session to touch HK$80.40. The company reported first-half 2026 revenue of HK$2.589 billion, up 42.4% year-on-year, while gross profit reached HK$818 million, a 43.2% increase. Net profit for the period rose 58.3% to HK$321 million, with adjusted net profit up 41.6% to HK$345 million.
Among the six listed tea-drink brands that have disclosed interim results, AUNTEA JENNY leads in both revenue and net profit growth rates. Notably, the industry's overall revenue growth has slowed to approximately 9%, down from the previous common range of 20% to 30%.
According to a research report from Guosheng Securities, the rapid growth is primarily driven by the swift expansion of the store network and a marked improvement in store closure rates. As of the end of the first half of 2026, the company's total store count reached 13,155, with a net addition of 1,697 new stores during the period, compared to just 260 net additions in the same period last year. The store closure rate improved to 4.9% from 7.0% a year earlier.
Stores in third-tier and lower-tier cities account for 53.4% of the total, while overseas operations now span six countries with 61 locations. Additionally, AUNTEA JENNY raised its interim dividend payout ratio to 66%, proposing a mid-term dividend of approximately HK$210 million, representing a payout ratio of 65.5%—substantially higher than last year's 35%.
Last month, the company received voluntary commitment letters from six shareholders who agreed to extend their lock-up period until November 7, 2026. During this period, their combined share disposals will not exceed approximately 3.684 million shares, accounting for about 3.50% of the total issued share capital.
