US Official Condemns EU Fine on Musk's X, Accuses Europe of Taxing Americans

The Chairman of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) criticized the European Union's fine on Elon Musk's social media platform X on Friday. The penalty was imposed for alleged violations of EU online content regulations.
In a post on X, FCC Chair Brendan Carr stated, "Once again, Europe is fining a successful American tech company. Europe is taxing Americans to subsidize a continent strangled by its own suffocating regulations."
