Sometimes we just need to take our eyes off mkt for a while. It is patience-defying at times of this choas. Stocks with fundamentals to hold. Before you are tempted to buy dips stop one moment to check the fundamentals.

Very good read. Explains a lot of the analysis. On the competing companies - BABA represents (loosely) Asia (China + SEA), SEA Southeast Asia + Taiwan + LATAM, AMZN Global(???). Which do we think has the largest market and growth potential in terms of gaming, e-commerce and digital payment?

Why are you comparing to Lazada? Their main competitor in ASEAN is Bukalapak and Tokopedia.50% of ASEAN e-Commerce GMV is in Indonesia and Lazada dosent even operate there. Not to mention only 10% of Indon MSMEs are digital, soIndonesia's potential E-Commerce Market size is much bigger than it is now. Lazada died a long time ago

Good write up.  But my take is that might as well buy Baba or AMZ.

P/S ratio as benchmark? [Facepalm] I wonder growth companies 'valuation' + MSM/social media hype is setting up trap for retail investor. [Surprised]

The main reason for the 2022 sell off was due to impending high interest rates.  If they can't make profit while interest is almost zero, how can they make profit when interest is increased every quarter for the next 2 years.  $Sea Ltd(SE)$swing trades only .

Interestingly put it. I wander how other investors would place SE valuation given that the trading price has fall from 372.70 at its peak to now 145.60 over 60% fall. I guess each invrstors' intrinsic value varies according to their risk appetite.
