On September 17, the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges released their official trading calendars for the 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.
According to the schedule, markets will be closed from Friday, September 25 through Sunday, September 27, with regular trading resuming on Monday, September 28. Additionally, all markets will shut down from Thursday, October 1 through Wednesday, October 7, reopening on Thursday, October 8. Regular weekend closures will apply on Sunday, September 20 and Saturday, October 10.
The Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges also issued notices regarding the Stock Connect trading schedule. For the Mid-Autumn Festival, Stock Connect services will be unavailable from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27, resuming on Monday, September 28. For the National Day holiday, Stock Connect services will be suspended from Thursday, October 1 to Wednesday, October 7, with service resuming on Thursday, October 8.
Settlement and clearing arrangements for Stock Connect transactions will follow the specific guidelines issued by the China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited.
