China Securities Association: Securities Companies Achieve Operating Revenue of 251.036 Billion Yuan and Net Profit of 112.28 Billion Yuan in H1

The China Securities Association recently conducted statistics on the operating data of securities companies for the first half of 2025. According to unaudited financial statements, 150 securities companies achieved operating revenue of 251.036 billion yuan in the first half of 2025. Revenue from major business segments was as follows: net income from securities brokerage business (including trading seat leasing) reached 68.842 billion yuan, net income from securities underwriting and sponsorship business totaled 14.321 billion yuan, net income from financial advisory business amounted to 2.201 billion yuan, net income from investment consulting business was 3.241 billion yuan, net income from asset management business reached 11.351 billion yuan, net interest income totaled 26.238 billion yuan, and securities investment gains (including fair value changes) amounted to 100.242 billion yuan. The companies achieved net profit of 112.28 billion yuan.

According to statistics, as of June 30, 2025, the 150 securities companies had total assets of 13.46 trillion yuan, net assets of 3.23 trillion yuan, net capital of 2.37 trillion yuan, client transaction settlement fund balances (including margin trading funds) of 2.82 trillion yuan, and total principal amount of entrusted funds under management of 9.35 trillion yuan.
