Ganfeng Lithium Group Co., Ltd. (01772) opened nearly 3% higher. As of the time of writing, the stock was up 2.72%, trading at HK$54.75, with a turnover of HK$14.0051 million. On January 5th, Ganfeng Lithium responded on an investor interaction platform, stating that the 2.4 million tonnes per year mining construction project for the lithium-tin polymetallic ore at Inner Mongolia Vilasto Mining Co., Ltd. (referred to as the "Vilasto Project") has officially received the approval and ratification, and mining equipment is being brought onto the site in batches. Public information indicates that the overall development plan for the Inner Mongolia Vilasto lithium polymetallic mine involves "initial open-pit mining followed by a transition to underground mining." The open-pit mining section is planned for development in "two phases." Phase One involves an investment of RMB 2 billion to construct an open-pit lithium mining and processing project with a capacity of 8,000 tonnes per day (2.4 million tonnes per year). Upon completion and reaching full capacity, Phase One is projected to achieve an annual output value exceeding RMB 2.3 billion, generate annual tax revenue of RMB 900 million, and achieve an annual net profit of RMB 1.1 billion. Phase Two plans an investment of RMB 3 billion to establish a 10 million tonnes per year open-pit lithium-tin ore mining and processing project, which, at full capacity, is expected to yield an annual output value of over RMB 8 billion, create tax revenue of approximately RMB 1.4 billion, and a net profit of RMB 1.6 billion.
