Singapore stocks fell this week, with the STI up 0.24%.

In terms of individual stocks, ULTRAGREEN AI USD rose 5.11%; AvePoint rose 4.6%; NIO Inc. USD OV rose 3.86%; SATS rose 3.64%; Frencken down 11.25%; Hong Leong Asia down 10.88%; UMS down 9.64%; Food Empire down 8.26%.

UltraGreen.ai's CEO Ravinder Sajwan raises stake after buying 78,800 shares at US$1.37 each

Ravinder Sajwan, CEO of UltraGreen.ai, has raised his stake in the company after buying more shares on May 29.

According to a filing with the exchange, Sajwan paid a total of US$108,042.68 for 78,800 shares, which works out to an average of just over US$1.37.

In contrast to how Sajwan has all along held an interest in the company via deemed interests, these shares are bought and held under him directly.

In addition to these 78,800 shares, he has a deemed interest in another 683.15 million shares, or 61.94%.

Nio delivers 37,705 vehicles in May, up 62.3% year on year

Chinese electric vehicle maker Nio : NIO -2.59% delivered 37,705 vehicles in May, a 62.3 per cent year-on-year increase.

This brought its number of vehicles delivered in the year to date to 150,526, a 68.7 per cent year-on-year rise.

Cumulative deliveries hit 1.1 million as at end-May, the company said on Monday (Jun 1) in its delivery update for the month.

UMS signs pact for joint venture with three Vietnamese precision engineering firms

High-precision semiconductor company UMS Integration on Friday (Jun 5) announced that it has inked a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MOU) to invest about US$3.6 million for a 51.6 per cent stake in a joint venture (JV) company in Vietnam.

The proposed JV will consolidate three Vietnam-based precision engineering and metal plating companies – Viet Nguyen Mechanical Precision Company, Central Metal Mechanical Company and Global Metal Plating Company.

SATS says independent director Vinita Bali retires from board

SATS flagged the retirement of non-executive, independent director Vinita Bali from its board.

Bali currently also holds non-executive board roles at Cognizant Technology Solutions, Syngene International, Bajaj Auto, Rhea Healthcare.

She previously served as a non-executive director at Crisil within the past five years.
