The S&P 500 index rose to 4300, a new all-time high.

Tiger Newspress2021-06-29

The S&P 500 index hit a record high shortly after the open on Tuesday, lifted by big U.S. banks, while investors looked to consumer confidence data against the backdrop of rising inflation and a spike in COVID-19 cases in Asia.

At 10:35 a.m., the S&P 500 gained 0.5% to record high of 4,300.52. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.48% to 34,447.68, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.04% to 14,505.21.

Bull market climbs a wall of worry. Expecting the bears to shout even louder as market climbs. Stay vested but be prudent when adding more

Another all time high? I'm concerned... the Shiller P/E ratio is over 38 now, historic high was during the Tech bubble at 40 ish if I'm not wrong . I'm not sure if I would be this optimistic... I say, thread carefully and keep some cash on the side. Cash is not necessarily Trash if it allows you to buy stocks for cheap. What are your views?

market can stay irrational for far longer than we think. then again, this high PE might be the new norm, considering the market is flushed with more cash with all the low rates and money printing
