Base on my observation, the only true way to know if the ruling party has done enough during their governing term is during the General Election. The votes will tell it all.  The incumbent president, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, who took office on 14 September 2023 had won in the 2023 presidential election with 70.41% of the vote. This indicates strong support from the people.  If Singaporeans truly believe the current government is doing and living up to expectations (which includes easing cost of living), people will vote for them. If not, they won't.
