The cybersecurity sector saw a rise of 2.53%, with CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. up 5.48%. However, the solar energy sector experienced a decline of 3.97%, with Daqo New Energy Corp. down 3.97%.
Apple rose by 1.17% as Wall Street analysts reiterated their positive outlook on the company. NVIDIA fell by 1.68% due to concerns over antitrust investigations and competition from ASIC chips. Amazon.com increased by 2.40%. Alphabet and Alphabet surged by 3.54% and 3.60%, respectively, following Google's breakthrough in quantum computing technology. Broadcom soared by 11.21% after reporting strong Q4 results and a positive outlook for AI-related sales. Netflix saw a modest increase of 0.24% amid mixed analyst opinions. Advanced Micro Devices slightly declined by 0.17% after merger rumors with Intel were denied. Qualcomm fell by 0.40% due to ongoing legal battles with Arm Holdings.
