On December 9, China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited (001289.SZ/00916.HK) held a special lecture session to study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Gong Yufei, the company's Party Secretary and Chairman, delivered the lecture via both on-site and video channels to all employees, emphasizing the need to align thoughts and actions with the Party Central Committee's decisions and ensure effective implementation of the session's directives. Pan Min, the company's Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary and Party Committee member, presided over the session, with other leadership members including Yang Wenjing and Ding Peng in attendance.
Gong Yufei elaborated on the core principles of the Fourth Plenary Session, focusing on the mission of central state-owned enterprises in the new energy sector. His lecture covered four key dimensions: understanding the session's significance, grasping its core tenets, embracing corporate responsibilities, and ensuring practical implementation. He systematically analyzed the historical context and strategic implications of the session, urging employees to comprehend its strategic and practical demands from both historical and holistic perspectives.
Highlighting the session's core principles, Gong summarized China's developmental achievements during the 14th Five-Year Plan period in areas such as economic growth, technological innovation, domestic demand expansion, and industrial upgrading. He also outlined strategic priorities for the 15th Five-Year Plan, stressing the importance of high-quality development, technological innovation, green transformation, and energy sector advancement as key drivers for corporate growth.
In defining corporate responsibilities, Gong outlined the company's goal to become a world-leading international new energy technology enterprise, emphasizing five key platforms: world-class new energy business development, asset management, technological innovation, shared collaboration, and Party-building empowerment. These platforms aim to drive high-quality development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
For implementation, Gong proposed four specific measures: deepening theoretical understanding through training, translating session directives into actionable and measurable tasks, addressing grassroots challenges through problem-oriented approaches, and integrating Party-building with operational management to ensure effective execution.
As the year-end approaches, Gong emphasized three priorities: ensuring safety and stability by strengthening oversight and addressing environmental compliance; completing annual targets through coordinated efforts; and systematically planning for the next year by aligning with the group's 15th Five-Year Plan and fostering innovation and talent development.
The session was attended by senior executives, department heads, and Party members across the company.
