NCI's Articles of Association Amendment Approved, Supervisory Committee Abolished

On January 21, New China Life Insurance Company Ltd. (NCI) announced that it recently received the "Reply on the Amendment of the Articles of Association of New China Life Insurance Company Ltd." (Jin Fu [2026] No. 29) from the National Financial Regulatory Administration. The National Financial Regulatory Administration has approved the revisions to the "Articles of Association of New China Life Insurance Company Ltd." (hereinafter referred to as the "Articles of Association") made during the company's Third Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2025.

Effective from the date the Articles of Association were approved, the company will no longer establish a Supervisory Committee, and the "Rules of Procedure for the Supervisory Committee of New China Life Insurance Company Ltd." are simultaneously abolished. Mr. Liu Debin, Mr. Yu Jiannan, Mr. Wang Zhongzhu, and Mr. Liu Chongsong no longer serve as supervisors of the company. The Board of Directors and all directors of New China Life Insurance Company Ltd. guarantee that this announcement contains no false records, misleading statements, or material omissions, and assume legal responsibility for the authenticity, accuracy, and completeness of its content.

The aforementioned supervisors have confirmed that they have no disagreements with the company and that there are no matters requiring the attention of the company's shareholders.
