On January 21, New China Life Insurance Company Ltd. (NCI) announced that it recently received the "Reply on the Amendment of the Articles of Association of New China Life Insurance Company Ltd." (Jin Fu [2026] No. 29) from the National Financial Regulatory Administration. The National Financial Regulatory Administration has approved the revisions to the "Articles of Association of New China Life Insurance Company Ltd." (hereinafter referred to as the "Articles of Association") made during the company's Third Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in 2025.
Effective from the date the Articles of Association were approved, the company will no longer establish a Supervisory Committee, and the "Rules of Procedure for the Supervisory Committee of New China Life Insurance Company Ltd." are simultaneously abolished. Mr. Liu Debin, Mr. Yu Jiannan, Mr. Wang Zhongzhu, and Mr. Liu Chongsong no longer serve as supervisors of the company.
