The U.S. and Iran Work Toward Deal to Extend Ceasefire and Reopen Hormuz, The Washington Post Reports

The United States and Iran have developed a memorandum-of-understanding framework that would extend the ceasefire by 60 days, allowing the two sides time to reach a “final deal” aimed at permanently ending the war in Iran. In the meantime, the agreement would also lead to the demining and reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, according to a senior administration official, The Washington Post reported.
