On the morning of January 6th, NIO announced the rollout of its 1,000,000th mass-produced vehicle. William Li, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of NIO, along with Co-Founder and President Qin Lihong, engaged in a dialogue with the media.
Outlining the operational strategy for 2026, Qin Lihong summarized it into three key areas: selling vehicles effectively, delivering superior services, and enhancing infrastructure. On the product front, the primary sales drivers in 2026 will be mid-to-high-end large vehicles. Regarding the sales network, the company plans to deepen its penetration into lower-tier markets and is preparing to establish comprehensive NIO company stores in these areas with existing sales volume. These stores will sell models from three brands: NIO, Ledao, and Firefly, with the first batch of locations set to open before the Chinese New Year. For infrastructure, the company will further accelerate the construction of its charging and battery-swapping network.
