Horizon Robotics has unveiled that its Journey series of intelligent driving chips has surpassed 15 million units in cumulative shipments, positioning the company at the forefront of China's intelligent driving chip market in terms of scale and market share.
The Journey chips have now empowered over 8 million vehicle owners, with partnerships extending to more than 40 brands, including all of China's top 10 automakers. Since the start of front-loading mass production in 2020, the Journey chip has achieved a milestone of 10 million units in just five years, followed by a rapid ascent from 10 million to 15 million units within a mere 12 months, marking an annual growth rate of 39%.
This accelerated shipment pace underscores the steady enhancement of Horizon Robotics' large-scale production and delivery capabilities. To date, the company has secured design wins for 500 mass-production vehicle models, with nearly 130 designated for mid-to-high-level intelligent driving applications, and a total pipeline exceeding 20 million sets.
As these designated projects transition into mass production phases, the ample vehicle model portfolio is expected to sustain a steady stream of shipment growth momentum.
