On the evening of October 8, Liziyuan disclosed in an announcement that the company recently learned that its independent director Xiao Zuoping is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation.

Based on preliminary understanding, the case involving Xiao Zuoping is unrelated to the company.

Liziyuan stated that Xiao Zuoping has served as an independent director of the company since July 2024. He is currently an independent director of the fourth board of directors and serves as the chairman of the audit committee and a member of the nomination committee. Apart from these roles, he holds no other positions in the company and does not participate in the company's daily production and operation management. His inability to perform his duties will not have a material impact on the company's business management activities.

Other directors and senior management of the company are performing their duties normally, and production and operations management are proceeding as usual.

Given that Xiao Zuoping can no longer perform the duties of an independent director, the company will select and appoint a new independent director as soon as possible in accordance with relevant laws and regulations and the provisions of the company's articles of association.
