Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi raised its 2026 smartphone shipment target to 110m units from about 90m, roughly a 16% increase, supply-chain sources said.
The incremental volume will mainly come from low-end models; Xiaomi internally expects the current memory-chip cycle may reverse. Xiaomi had cut shipment targets twice earlier this year after upstream memory-chip shortages and sustained cost increases.
