On the morning of December 23, the "Cloud Live Streaming City" project in Beijing's Pinggu District officially commenced operations. With 35 live streaming rooms ready for simultaneous use, the initiative injects fresh vitality into the district's digital economy development.
The project features 10 standardized live streaming rooms, each catering to diverse themes such as international cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, cross-border e-commerce trends, cultural exhibitions of national pavilions, and promotions of agricultural and rural specialty products. Additionally, dedicated live streaming spaces for Pinggu's local brands and customized rooms for globally renowned brands have been set up to accommodate varied broadcasting needs.
Beyond live streaming facilities, the project includes plans for a digital exhibition hall and an AI experience zone. The digital exhibition hall will leverage cutting-edge technology to showcase unique products and cultural displays, offering consumers an immersive visual experience. Meanwhile, the AI experience zone will employ artificial intelligence to create interactive shopping scenarios, blending entertainment with retail for a seamless consumer experience.
Developed through a collaboration between Pinggu Town's Shengli Street Village and corporate partners, the project revitalizes 11,300 square meters of underutilized village assets. Upon full operation, it is expected to generate 600 jobs, significantly bolstering regional economic growth.
