Overnight trading on August 26 saw the Hang Seng Index futures contract for August delivery settle at 25,648 points, marking a gain of 98 points, or 0.384%, and reflecting a 137-point premium over the underlying cash index.
The total open interest for the contract stood at 87,395 lots, a decrease of 40,674 lots from the prior session. Meanwhile, net open interest was recorded at 25,136 lots, down by 8,324 lots.
