China Unicom Has Built Over 20,000 5G Private Networks for Industries

At the opening of the 2025 China 5G+ Industrial Internet Conference on November 22, Jian Qin, General Manager of China Unicom, stated that the company has strengthened network construction to solidify a "new foundation" for new industrialization.
To date, China Unicom has established more than 20,000 5G private networks dedicated to various industries and has implemented over 30,000 industrial internet projects, covering all major industrial categories.
The company continues to drive digital transformation by expanding its 5G infrastructure and industrial applications.
