Singapore Airlines and its budget arm Scoot flew 34,900 fewer passengers in August compared to July, and their load factors also slipped marginally. The carrier group transported just under three million passengers last month, it announced in its August operating statistics to the Singapore Exchange on Friday (Sep 15). In contrast, both SIA and Scoot flew slightly more than three million passengers in July.
Singapore Telecommunications said on Monday private equity firm KKR will acquire a 20% stake in the firm's regional data centre business with an investment commitment of up to S$1.1 billion ($806.87 million). The deal puts the enterprise value of SingTel’s overall regional data centre business at S$5.5 billion ($4.03 billion) and the funds will be used to expand the data centre's business across Southeast Asian markets, including Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
CapitaLand Open End Real Estate Fund (COREF), the flagship regional core-plus fund of CapitaLand Investment (CLI), has acquired a newly completed, Grade A logistics property in South Korea for $112 million.
First Sponsor Group and its units have acquired an office building in Rotterdam at an agreed commercial value of 62 million euros (S$90.6 million). The value excludes debt, as well as the cost for certain capex works and inspection works for the property. The leasehold property is Allianz Tower, an office building in Rotterdam, Netherlands, with an area of 19,607 square metres.
