Bank of China Limited Chairman Ge Haijiao met with a delegation led by Chia Der Jiun, Managing Director of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, at the BOC headquarters in Beijing on June 16.
The discussions centered on strengthening economic and trade collaboration between China and Singapore and fostering the growth of Singapore's offshore renminbi market. BOC Executive Vice President Huang Xueling was also present at the meeting.

Both parties acknowledged that the 90th anniversary of BOC's operations in Singapore represents a fresh starting point for their relationship.
They expressed a shared commitment to deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as promoting the internationalization of the renminbi and enhancing connectivity between capital markets.
