A senior Iranian source said mediators have proposed a 10-day pause in strikes to seek a way to restore the interim agreement between Iran and the US.
US stock futures jumped on the news. Nasdaq 100 futures gained over 1%; S&P 500 futures rose 0.56% while Dow Jones futures rose 0.43%.
WTI crude oil futures fell 2.36%; Brent oil futures fell 1.91%.
