Dow Jones2023-03-15
0145 GMT - Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rises 2.1% to 19660.03 in early trade, tracking Wall Street's rebound. There has been a relief rally, say Commerzbank analysts in a research report, noting overnight rebound in U.S. and European stocks as worries abated over contagion in the banking sector. Gains on the HSI are led by technology and internet-related shares, with Baidu climbing 5.3%, NetEase adding 5.1% and Alibaba Health Information Technology up 4.7%. The Hang Seng Tech Index is 3.4% higher at 3919.30. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
