New Oriental Education (NYSE:EDU) reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $0.56 per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $0.33 by 69.7 percent. This is a 200 percent increase over losses of $(0.56) per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $754.15 million which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $718.40 million by 4.98 percent. This is a 22.81 percent increase over sales of $614.09 million the same period last year.
New Oriental Education shares jumped 5.7% in premarket trading.
