Virgin Galactic Sets Plans For Return to Space, Commercial Launch

Virgin Galactic says it will conduct a space flight later this month with four employees on board its spaceship, who will be tasked with validating the company's experience for private astronauts ahead of its first commercial flight.
The inaugural commercial mission, called "Galactic 01," is planned for late June, per a company statement, a timeline that keeps with an earlier forecast that customer operations would begin in 2Q.
The company is scheduled to report 1Q results Tuesday afternoon, and had previously estimated a cash outflow of between $135M and $145M for the period.
