PacWest Shares Tumble 20% After Regional Bank Says Deposits Fell 9.5% Last Week

U.S. regional bank PacWest Bancorp said on Thursday it had $15 billion of immediately available liquidity, as of May 10.

During the week ended May 5, deposits declined about 9.5%, the bank said, adding the majority of those outflows happened on May 4 and May 5 after news reports said PacWest was exploring options.

Stocks tumbled over 20% on the news.

    Given how pacwest shares were shorted those few days if its 9.5% its admirable.  Amd if its 95% yet still standing i think its even more admirable.
