Central Development to Book Wider Losses in Fiscal Year 2024; Shares Soar 19%

Central Development Holdings (HKG:0475) forecasts its loss to widen to between HK$31 million and HK$34.4 million in the fiscal year ended March 31 from HK$11.9 million in the year-ago period, according to a Thursday filing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The downbeat forecast is attributable to net fair value loses from changes in the fair values of derivative financial instruments and investment properties, the filing said.
The solar energy products maker expects to release full fiscal year results in late June.
Sharse surged 19% in Hong Kong during Friday's afternoon trading.
