TAT Technologies shares rose to their 52-week high after the company reported a large increase in its second-quarter earnings and revenue.
The stock was up 12%, to $17.19 a share, after trading as high as $17.36 earlier in Thursday's session.
Revenue for the quarter was $36.5 million, 36.2% higher than the same quarter last year, when it had quarterly revenue of $26.8 million.
Earnings for the quarter were $2.6 million, or 25 cents a share. This was a 78% increase over last year's $1.5 million, or 15 cents a share.
The North Carolina-based aerospace and defense company said it had orders of more than $40 million in the quarter, potentially boosting revenue in the coming quarters.
