i3 Verticals Completes Merchant Services Business Sale, Names New Chief Financial Officer

i3 Verticals (IIIV) has completed the sale of its merchant services business, including its associated proprietary technology, to Payroc WorldAccess for about $438 million in cash, the companies said Monday.
In the same statement, i3 Verticals said Geoff Smith was appointed as its chief financial officer after previously serving as the company's senior vice president of finance. Smith succeeded Clay Whitson, who was named chief strategy officer, the company added.
