Kaisa Prosperity (HKG:2168) recorded an attributable profit of 44.3 million yuan for the six months ended June 30, as compared to an attributable loss of 101.4 million yuan a year prior, the company's interim report posted on the Hong Kong bourse on Thursday stated.
Earnings per share stood at 0.29 yuan for the six months, while the company incurred a loss per share of 0.66 yuan in the first half of 2023.
Revenue for the property management services provider rose by 2% to 898 million yuan in the half year from 880 million yuan in the year-ago period.
The firm attributed its improved performance mainly to a substantial reduction in the provision for loss allowance on trade receivables from related parties for the period.
Shares of the company closed over 6% higher on Friday.
