美国司法部告诉一位联邦法官，正在考虑建议强迫谷歌出售部分业务，以减轻垄断在线搜索市场造成的伤害。若最终付诸实施，这将是一次历史性的反垄断分拆。
反垄断执法人员在周二的法庭文件中说，法官Amit Mehta也可以迫使谷歌提供访问权，以访问其用于构建搜索结果和人工智能产品的基础数据。
司法部在文件中表示，司法部“正在考虑采取行为和结构性补救措施，阻止谷歌使用Chrome、Play和安卓等产品，来助力谷歌搜索以及与谷歌搜索相关的产品和功能，包括人工智能等新兴搜索接入点和功能，相对于竞争对手或新进入业者取得优势”。
