Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage named Richard Hallé as chief financial officer, effective Jan. 1, succeeding Todd Dissinger, who previously announced he would retire at the end of the year.
Hallé has been a member of the company's board and audit committee since 2012. However, he resigned from these roles and will join the company under interim employment on Nov. 4 to facilitate an orderly transition into the CFO role, the natural and organic groceries and dietary supplements retailer said Thursday.
In the new role, Hallé will oversee the company's finance, accounting, treasury, financial planning and analysis, investor relations, project management office, internal audit, accounts payable, tax, and payroll and benefits.
He most recently was a managing director of Alvarez and Marsal Private Equity Performance Improvement Group. Prior, he held the top finance role at Vivial, was CFO and secretary of DTN Holding Company and a managing director of FTI Consulting.
